IN THIS LESSON

Why would your body refuse to process somewhere? Because it's protecting you.

You see, your body is kind of like a Jenga puzzle. Those are the blocks that you're trying not to collapse even though you're pulling pieces out of the precarious stack. But your body is good at that game and it simply won't let you collapse itself.

Your body is a master of healing and it is managing this task in complex and beautiful ways. And because using attention and allowing is so gentle, your body will just refuse to process something it doesn't have the capacity to handle it. This is really different than force interventions that can collapse your body and cause iatrogenic insult and it's a great feature of this type of gentle, non-force, allowing technique that we're learning here.

So if your body isn’t processing something, it’s can be because your body knows better. Perhaps there’s an infection that needs to be cleaned up before the area can heal. Perhaps a lynchpin issue in another part of the body needs to be taken care of first. If you let it lead, it’ll never crash itself.

Respecting your body's pace and methodologies will allow healing to unfold in a way that’s right for you, building resources along the way.   .

In the next section, I’ll cover more intuitive methods for finding where the body is working right now to heal you.
