IN THIS LESSON

In this lesson, we'll find a way to figure out where the body is already working to heal itself with a method called 'Five Point.'

I learned this through the wonderful women in Connecticut who teach Integrative Manual Therapy. The five points are the head, the two hands, and the two feet.

Basically, you roll an imaginary ball from each of the points through the body and see where it naturally lands. When two or more of those imaginary balls roll to the same spot, that spot is where you’ll likely want to process. The more balls go to the same spot, the more important that spot is to process.

Don’t overthink this. You’re just using your imagination and imagining where the ball lands. You will confirm that you found the right spot if the body starts processing, giving you those subtle cues that trauma is being transmuted, like heat, or gurgling, or sighing, etc.

So, I’ll do it for you now: I’m going to roll an imaginary ball from my head and imagine where it lands. That one goes to my right neck. I’ll roll a ball from my right hand, that one also goes to my right neck.  My right foot goes to… my right neck. I roll a ball from my left foot… and it also goes to my right neck. I guess I know already where I’m going to process, but I’ll just check… No! My left hand goes to my left ear. So, okay, four out of five is a pretty clear indication that I have something going on with my right neck that needs attention and allowing. Usually, it’s two or three out of five that are enough to indicate a spot for processing.

Now, if you roll a ball down each point and each ball goes to a different place, then you're very healthy and you should go dance instead of worrying about healing yourself. I'm not even joking there -- dance is a great way to move energy joyful and is a very healthy practice.

In the next lesson, we'll cover how a more direct way of accessing information from the field. Join me.
