IN THIS LESSON

If you know a spot on your body that you'd like to heal, but you can't seem to get it to process, then there could be two problems. The first is that you might not be resonating with exactly what's there in the tissues. To find out how to deal with that, go to the lessons on Specificity. 

The other option is that you simply might not be choosing the spot that your body, in its greater wisdom, knows needs healing first. The answer here is to use your intuition instead of your conscious mind. Your intuition draws from the right brain awareness, which, generally speaking, perceives what's going on right now in the world. You could also say that we're using methods that draw on our subconscious awareness. This way of thinking about it makes a lot of sense when you remember that, after all, healing happens subconsciously. 

This class includes a whole module on Intuition, so you can go there to learn more. But, for right now, I'm going to give you three short cuts to intuition and awareness of your subconscious that you can use to find where your body is working right now to heal you so that you can join it and augment it there. 

Those are:

1) Guess method. 

2) Letting Your Hand Choose.

3) Worry Spot. 

The Guess Method should be self-explanatory. You're just going to guess where to put your hands. Just pick one place and another and try to simultaneously activate your peripheral vision or sit behind yourself. If your body starts to process, you're in. Perhaps you can figure out why and what by gently paying attention while you sit back out of the way, but remember, the keys are whether or not you get processing going and whether or not you get a resolution of symptoms, even if it's subtle. 

The 'Letting Your Hand Choose' method is similar to the Guess method except you're going to be using your felt sense more. Here, you're just going to run your hand down your body, not too slowly, and stop wherever it stops. The reason you should err on the side of going quickly is to circumvent your brain from trying to decide for itself. We're not using that familiar method of judging what's right or wrong. We're using something much subtler and faster. So just go quickly and trust yourself. 

The last and perhaps most useful way I have for teaching people how to figure out where their body is already working to heal you is to advise you to choose the spot you're secretly worried about. This is for people who already have access to their subconscious minds, but maybe aren't well versed in what that even means or how to use it. So if you have a spot that you worry about when you're alone, or in the dead of the night... go there and see if you can get it to process.
