IN THIS LESSON
When you’re trying to increase specificity, having a reliable way to get intuitive, yes-or-no answers is crucial. We covered that in the last lesson and especially talked about the pendulum method. Now we're going to apply that using a method similar to the Twenty Questions game to figure out what's there in the tissues needing Resonant Attention.
Once I’ve identified a place that seems like it should be processing, but isn’t, I’ll use my pendulum method to ask about what exact trauma is there. I do this by first asking what consciousness platform houses the trauma.
So I'll go through each question asking my pendulum for a yes or no. Again, you could also do this with body sway or muscle testing.
I'll ask, is this in the physical body? Yes or no. Is this in the emotional body, yes or no? And then once I figure out where, I'll use my 20 questions and pendulum to figure out what age the person was when they somatized or re-triggered the trauma
Platforms where the trauma could be lodged include:
The physical body
The emotional body
The mental body (a belief)
A miasmatic or family pattern;
A past life.
I might also ask if the pattern involves an energetic interference, which could be a ghost or a fragment, or some other phenomenon that can be further explored in William J. Baldwin’s book, Spirit Releasement Therapy. I explore that topic in more advanced offerings.
If my pendulum has said, ‘yes’ to the physical body, then I know there was a physical injury that left an imprint in the tissue. If the trauma is in the emotional body, then I know there was most likely an incident of impactful emotional trauma.
Sometimes just identifying on that level will get processing going. But if it doesn't, your next step would be, also using your pendulum, to determine what age the trauma occurred at. ‘Did it occur 1-10 years old?’ Yes. ‘1-5?’ Yes. ‘1?’ No. ‘2’? Yes. Like that.
Then, you would ask the person, “Ok, what physical (or emotional) injury did you have at 2 years old? Usually, that will be enough information to trigger your client to recall the incident—and the body will simultaneously begin to process it. Then you’re off to the races, processing, etc.
Now, your pendulum indicates trauma in the mental body, then you’ll know that you’ve found a belief that grew out of an incident which could have had physical or emotional components, but became lodged as a belief about themselves. It might be something like, “I can’t trust the world,” or “I’m not wanted,” or “I’m not enough.” Furthermore, it’s a belief that’s exerting influence on the tissues. It might even be running what German New Medicine adherents might call a ‘program,’ which is a subconscious bodily response to trauma. I speak more about German New Medicine and these subconscious programs in more advanced classes.
Past life traumas can also get lodged in the body. There is so much fascinating literature on this topic; you can find a short list on my resonantattention.com website. Suffice it to say that we can't ignore the very real, very workable traumas that remain across lifetimes if we really want to get healthy. The only way I’ve figured out how to work with past life trauma is to use the ‘query the field’ method. You can find out more about that in the Intuition module.
One more possibility is ‘Miasms.’ Miasms are energetic patterns that are carried in family lineages. They can be chillingly spooky. I had a client in Santa Fe who had chopped off his thumb by accident at seven years old and then his son did the exact same thing. I had a client whose mother had a stroke that went undiagnosed. Years later, when I was treating her, I kept feeling like she had a stroke. She had been diagnosed with ADHD, but it got better when we processed it as if it were her mother’s stroke. So miasms are weird, energetic patterns that you picked up by growing up in a certain reality.
The way to work with them is to identify it as a miasm and then use 'yes/no' to ask if it's on the mother's side or father's side. Then you could ask which generation—mother's mother? Mother's father? Mother's grandmother? Etc. Once you've identified the who this is relating to, the person will likely know what it's about and start spontaneously processing it.
In the next module, we'll cover more about Intuition. Join me.
